January 28, 2019 – St.Catharines, ON — The Niagara Home Builders Association (NHBA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles (“Chuck”) McShane to the role of Executive Officer (EO), effective immediately.

As a former four-time President, and 20+ year Board Member of the NHBA, McShane is a powerful voice for the home building industry, renowned for his passion, energy and dedication to his local and provincial associations.

Throughout his aspiring career, McShane has been able to gain experience within a variety of sectors, as well as remaining an active and dedicated member within his local community.

He proudly serves as the CEO of the Steve Ludzik Foundation, a charitable organization founded by the former NHL hockey player to provide funding and assistance to those living with Parkinson’s disease.

“We are proud to have him (Chuck) on board, and look forward to his strong advocacy for our Association, as well as lead the way for all of our growth initiatives” states Tony Alfieri, NHBA President.

McShane’s responsibilities will include providing leadership to the Association in conjunction with The Board of Directors, as well as manage relationships at municipal, provincial and national levels regarding housing and land development related issues. Other duties include Membership acquisition/retention, and serving on various social/fundraising committees.
