The Niagara Home Builders’ Association (NHBA) President Jon Whyte paid tribute to association members for their dedicated commitment

The 2017 Member of the Year was presented to DANIELLE RINALDI
of Rinaldi Homes. Danielle’s infectious enthusiasm and eagerness to
contribute demonstrates her dedication to the Association. Whether
at the Board, Chairing the Sales and Marketing Committee, or Co-Chairing
fundraising efforts to benefit children who were victims of violence and
sexual assault, she brings good ideas and dedication to the table. Danielle’s
positive attitude and desire to make a difference in the community makes
this year’s recipient a true ambassador for our Association.

on the family tradition of hard work, quality, honesty, integrity and

Association Awards programs. In the community Homes by Hendriks is a
member of the Chamber of Commerce, supported Habitat for Humanity
Women Build projects and a supporter of careers in construction or
related fields.

It is an honour to recognize Yvonne Hendriks for her leadership of our Association through the past year. Being president is more than just attending Board meetings, travelling to Toronto, engaging with other leaders in the industry, and representing the issues of our industry at stakeholder sessions and in meetings with politicians.
It is also a privilege, and a tremendous opportunity to grow as an individual. It is as rewarding as it is challenging. Yvonne took on this role with professionalism, enthusiasm, and dedication. I know she was extremely proud to represent our Association, and we are extremely proud of the service and leadership she has provided.

Special Recognition for Executive Officer LYNDA BUSCH
Addressing the membership at the annual Christmas Dinner Party Tuesday evening, President Jon Whyte states, “It’s my honor to recognize the dedication and service Lynda has provided to our members for the past 17 years.” Lynda does a tremendous job for our Association. It’s not an easy job, and she doesn’t get nearly enough credit for what she does. I think that’s because she’s so dependable and reliable.
We can always count on her to look after the day-to-day operations and logistical
needs of the Association, to schedule meetings, and manage our finances. It’s more than that though; she’s there for whatever we need, whenever we need it. Her role has grown over time because of her dependability and it goes without saying that she will be missed. She has made the job of the Presidents and Board members who have served, an easy one, and for that we all owe her a great deal of gratitude.
We wish you the best on your retirement, and thank you Lynda, for all you’ve
done for us over the years.
